Can anyone confirm if its really possible to RE Rakata gear to get the extra stat prefix's?

From everything I've read on the SWTOR forums about RE and Crits for crafting, it hasn't been confirmed, but those that have been diligent in their research are pretty positive that the Rakata pieces do not RE into these sub-sets. They do, on the other hand, Crit to open an Augment Slot on the gear. So you can still improve them, but it's going to take a lot of time and patience.
