You have to be more open minded.

The reason there's a light side romance option on a dark side character is because Lucas Arts wants you to open your mind to making moral decisions besides just dark. If every person who makes a sith just makes dark choices it wastes the storytelling they made up for light side choices.

For Example, what sounds like a more interesting story, Jedi who follows the jedi code to the letter or a jedi who is hiding a secret romance from the order?

A lot of people haven't realized but switching up your moral decisions will completely change the story of your character. Ashara Zavros is incentive to do that and not for nothing but it makes your story that much more interesting.

You can corrupt a love interest companion character with the sith warrior

General Information: Certain companions do not get affection with certain quests. Hint - A lot of quests give you blatant suggestions to bring certain characters. Also, doing quests below the level of the time you picked up the character companion may not give an affection gain. ( IE level 34, wont get affection gains on most quests below 30. )

Gifting Ashara as male: If you use her as a companion until 2500 affection through conversations you will get more out of the gifts after the first romance option. Doing so before this point, you get the base score from a one star item as shown at the top of the page on the left.

Gifting Ashara as female: Ashara as a female character is straight ( so far ) and not interested in women. This kind of sucks since all gifts from females are a barely like option. The only way to get progressive gains from Ashara ( as far as I know ) is through general conversation. However, as posted earlier .....

Confirmed: having a romance with the cultist girl does not block Ashara's romance options.

Hokay, i've been using this Companion over Andronikos for a few levels and found her to be excellent. What's nice, is that she 'jumps' into combat, so I shield her up then send her in. I single target the first mob down then usually have an Instant Chain Lightning proc (I'm Sorc and Lightning specced) then it's nuke fest. No aggro on me, 4-5 mobs dead and the (slightly sarcastic) companion is still at 100% HP.

I have found that giving her the max dmg Lightsabers (even over my own) makes a good deal difference. I'm Synthweaving too, so her +10 skill for that helps and I've been making her some upgrades. She really does like the +STR and +END armor, helps her dmg a fair whack.

Daily Belsavis quests with conversation choices and total affection gain for Ashara. A # means no choice presents a possible affection gain, so feel free to chose which one you want.

This is what I'm hearing from a lot of people. Apparently it's supposed to be difficult to gain affection with her if your toon is female.

What's weird is that my toon is male, and the affection gains I get from giving her companion gifts all match the female amounts. So that might actually be a bug.

If you mean story wise, I couldn't speak to that, as my consular hasn't gotten to her yet.

@CrimsonOwl She's currently at ~6500 with my male sith assassin and has begun the romantic story line and accepting courting gifts w/ massive affection bonuses. So this cannot be right.

@andydouble07 That isn't, as you describe, impossible. She gains ~50-100 from higher grade gifts and 40 per speech option she likes, which soon adds up. For example while doing the Belsavis and Ilum dailies I gained about 400 affection by making the right choices. She appears to like compassion, intelligent questions, offering to help people and confidence.
However, be careful with confidence - if the confident option is also "Haha I'm going to kill and torture people!" She won't like that.

So, upon reaching about 1900 affection with her, the rank 1 republic memorabilia that you can purchase from the companion gift vendor (Galactic Trade Network side of the station) for 200 credits each, gave 48 affection each gift. This ran until i hit 4064. After i gave her the subsequent gift of a rank 1 republic memorabilia (green / premium) it only gave 19.

So, just saying, don't blow your money/fragments on things that aren't need to be spent upon. The gifts gave about 23 before 1900. But 48 affection for 200 credits? Easily the most cost effective way to raise her during this period.

Not much. +10 efficiency only reduces the amount of time needed to craft synthweaving items by 10%. In general, efficiency is pretty bad for crafting. That said, artifice does not have any critical bonuses, and the inquisitor has the best artifice bonuses in the game (including for archeology, too), so that is probably your best bet.

If you want a great synthweaving character, consider the jedi knight or sith warrior, both of them have +5 critical synthweaving.
