The location of this NPC is unknown. Tamin is the Republic Security Key Vendor on the Republic Fleet space station. He can be found on the outer ring of the Cantina area, just to spinward of the Jedi Knight Hanger Elevator (SW quadrant).

There's another Security Vendor with different companion customizations on Ilum named Captain Kneely.
I was hunting down Tharan's 5&6 customizations when I found this out. I am happy to report to any Consulars that he did have Tharan's number 6 customization (which makes him bald, yech)...still tracking down #5 though.

Anybody got a list of his wares? I'm not fond of authenticator fobs like the one in the Collector's Edition - I lose the things too easily - and as far as I know, there's no authenticator app for Androids. I'll put up with the fob if I have to, but only if the vendor's goods are worth it to me.
