Successfully killed this boss in beta. We beat him with a full raid of 16: 2 tanks, 4 healers, 10 dps. We tried it with only 8 but didn't have the damage to kill him (our healers went out of force after awhile). He has a stomp that hurts the raid, so our setup was to have the group stack on his tail and our tanks faced him away. Most of the group was level 20-24 (below level 20, you don't hit him as dps, he hits too hard on tanks, and healers may die to the stomp). At this level, sorcerers are quite good at tank healing and our bounty hunters had an easier time AOE healing with the stacked raid so it was pretty easy to heal.

Good luck - if you find him, he is worth getting a group together to kill! Fun times and fantastic purple loot for the level. =)

Killed today, for us dropped...

Dropped this boss with a group of 10 using a lvl 33 tank,
The tank basically took no damage, but the boss does have an aoe knockdown that hits for about 1k. we managed to find a spot just to the side of his back leg where none of us were getting knocked down or taking damage from the aoe so it may be a cone type aoe effect from the tail and head (think dragon encounters)

basically just set your tank up run in and find the spot where you do not get hit by aoe and then grind him down, dropped 2 epic loots a earpiece and an offhand

Killed him solo today, level 50 Juggernaut on Rubat Crystal Server.. At 50, he does a negligible amount of damage, and even after the enrage it's not bad.

Dropped 2 Epic mods and a rating 58 BOP bracers. Also dropped 5k credits

Should be noted that this boss has a buff that prevents your companions from assisting in any way. I'm sure this is true of all world bosses, I've just only done this one so far.

For better or worse, expect these to become farmed by 50s, will be one of the better ways to get high quality alt gear/mods

lvl 50 sorc solod him in 5 mins, he didnt do any damage at all

dont let him get out of the lake or he will reset on you

found that out today in a PuG some one decided to troll and kept taunting out of the lake
we got him down and he dropped [Prototype]OG-31 Motor
