A born leader, Aric Jorgan is one of the Republic's most capable field officers. He enlisted in the military at an early age and quickly distinguished himself as a talented marksman. His impeccable service record earned him a spot in the Republic's top sniper squad, where he successfully carried out over a dozen missions against high-ranking Imperial targets.

Since his transfer to Fort Garnik, Jorgan has earned a reputation as a hard and demanding taskmaster. However, few realize his surly demeanor belies a genuine concern for the well-being of his troops. While those under his command may not particularly like the brooding Cathar, they almost always respect him.

For crew skill bonuses, Aric Jorgan comes with a +10 Armstech Efficiency and a +2 Diplomacy Critical rating.

Aric Jorgan is voiced by Timothy Omundson, who plays Carlton Lassiter in Psych.

As a fan of the show, it makes it very difficult to see him as anyone else, especially a Republic soldier. ;)

You receive this companion on the starter planet Ord Mantell.

He is ranged DPS. He uses heavy armor and an Assault Cannon or Blaster Rifle.

This companion like military responses in conversations. yes sir, no sir, I can do that sir. Dont ask questions or go for long conversations. He does not like it when you go against orders.

Those with female troopers who wish to romance with Jorgan will need to know:
-Yes you can flirt with NPCs (Mainly Jonas Balkar). It has no affect on the romance later on. (I actually like making Jorgan jealous)
-Expect to wait till around level 30 till the first flirt and level 40 for the first kiss.
-Jorgan won't take courting gifts until he has the quest [Suprise Inspection] (first flirt) for you.
-It has no affect on the romance whether you decide to promote Jorgan or Dorne.

I saw a pattern in the romance quests. It seems they coincide with his companion storyline and the class storylines. Also please note that I completed most of the missions at low requirement levels (most as they were orange on my log) so you might complete these missions done later than I did or earlier. This is just so you have an idea about the approximate level you'll get the romance going.

This companion's romance line (and all his conversations) are heavily plot/level gated. Regardless of affection, you cannot flirt with him until you've completed Act 1, and you cannot begin an actual romance with him until after Act 2. I thought this was normal, but one of the other troopers in my guild said his toon had married Elara before the end of Act 2.

For those who wish to gain some quick and free affection with Aric Jorgan (and some LightSide Points), you can solo Esseles in your spare time. I managed to do it at lv16 with no real big problems. Higher levels can go faster because they can skip more mobs than i could. The numbers 1,2,3 are the conversation choice options while a 0 represents no gain (that i could find). If you find that something is incorrect, please let me know.

If you're looking to maximize your affection gain when talking to him privately, here is a list of his personal missions.

First companion for the Trooper, you get him just as your ready to leave Ord Mantell on your main quest line.
If you haven't completed the group quests on Savrip Island by the time you obtain him, you should be able to easily solo them with him.

Ammunition Belts are one of the best companion gifts to give him.

According to terraxzohar, efficiency is a boost to the speed at which the character finishes his tasks; I'd expect critical to improve the chances of a critical success, just like critical does everywhere else.

Not only does he talk about being a sniper and instead uses an auto cannon, but he has a SNIPER MODE.

I don't know about many distance sniping records done with a minigun.

I just got a purple companion gift. It was a Courting gift. I looked on Torhead to see if Aric Jorgan would like that and it said he does like Courting gifts (2 stars). When I gave it to Aric, it gave no affection! What the hell?
