I'm noticing nobody is posting their crew skills perks at all.

Vector is the second companion you get on Aldaraan, he's a good option for those of you going light side. He's a melee dps and below is a transcribe from the Codex:

He wears light armor with willpower (aka Sith Inquisitor gear). His weapon is a Vibrostaff, which I initially thought was boring, but in combat looks almost like a dual bladed lightsaber. It also sounds like one. So he is basically a Sith Assassin, just not in name.

He embraces light side choices, so if you are going dark side, it can be difficult to keep him on your side, but there are many conversation choices that he will give you affection for that are neither light/dark. Pretty much anything about diplomacy or talking things thru instead of just killing will gain affection.

His favorite gifts are cultural, i.e. polished meteorite.
Because Assassins can tank, there is gear for him with defensive stats on it, and he can do a decent job of dps and holding aggro. I've found him to be the best companion to quest with on my healer operative.

I just got Vector and because of the things I've read here and on other sites, I was going to just leave him on the ship to do chores.
But instead, I took him for a spin and was pleasantly surprised by his dps in just the gear he came with.
So I bought a head piece, implants... earpiece later.

It is worth noting that he comes with a mod able Electrostaff that looks pretty cool.
It is also worth noting that his real dps numbers are not listed under Melee but rather you will find them under Ranged. WTG BioWare! Also, under the Ranged dropdown it shows Aim as a bonus stat. Sigh... they have much to fix!

I was completely and totally pissed off when I got this guy. Had been waiting for that third comp to make crew skills much easier and for some reason I just never liked Kaliyo much so was looking forward to replacing her. Imagine my surprise when I get this guy and hes a freaking goody two shoes! I chose empire cause I wanted to be evil. If I wanted to play nice I woulda gone republic in the first place. So now Im stuck with Kaliyo until I level some more. Again fair warning. If you are evil this guy is completely worthless for anything other than crew skills. First mission I played with him I took two -356 faction hits in the same conversation. NOT a viable evil option.
