They are subject to crowd control now, and it makes dealing with them easier, especially as a slightly undergeared/underleveled group. We choose to crowd control the Disciple, since they are not as easily moved, and drag the Guardian to the previous room to burn down. Usually, the Disciple can pop out of crowd control and not react. And if he does, there is time and space to deal with him as he runs at the group by whatever cc mechanics are available. And be sure to communicate an interrupt rotation for the Disciples, and they become a time consuming annoyance at best.
The Commando, as DPS, was not able to heal our designated tank through the damage coming from both mobs. After the wipe, I got aggro from the Disciple and kited him around the large obelisk in the center of the room while the rest of the group "tanked and spanked" down the Temple Guardian first. After that, the Disciple was no problem to burn down. His cast time Force abilities are interrupt-able.
**Edit - It appears as of patch 1.0.1, both the Temple Disciple and Temple Guardian are subject to crowd control.
