Personal History: Standard searches reveal no Imperial citizenship record for a "Raina Temple," but the usual caveats apply--our data on the Imperial populace remains sadly incomplete. Temple's skills and attitude suggest Imperial Army training, but her presence inside the Chiss Expansionary Defense Force is extremely unusual; neither the CEDF nor the Imperial military is known for its transfer programs.

Temple, when fully geared at level 50, does some seriously powerful DPS. However, if you're playing as a Sniper and have no way to heal, Temple gets easily rocked and cannot take much punishment. Unfortunately I have found the only viable Sniper companion at level 50 seems to be Doctor Lokin for his staying power. A fully geared Lokin is a fantastic healer. I cannot speak to Operative specs.
Note: You can use gear tokens for Tionese, Columni, and Rakata to gear up your companions as well as yourself!

This might seem odd, but she isn't what I expected. In all the screenshots, she seems like a serious person, never smiling, living among aliens, keeping dark secrets, desensitized from combat on distant harsh worlds like Hoth . I was hoping for a black chick with attitude. However, she reminds me too much of Leliana, the redhead bard from Dragon Age: Origins. Even giving her gifts, she says "This is wonderful!" She's made out to be this charming person that cares about feelings and is self-conscious, but is blindly faithful to imperial direction. She's too much of a clueless ditz. As someone who is an agent-in-training, she's way too loony. I can't take her seriously as a character.

If you marry Kaliyo before you start leveling up this companion's affection, Courting gifts will only grant you 1 star affection level instead of 3.
EDIT: This could have happened earlier if you are too.. Lets call it friendly to protect the kids, towards Kaliyo. I just maxed Kaliyo first and then went down the list.

Temple is neither light side nor dark side really, she is more interested in by the book behaviors and anything that benefits the empire overall.
However if your comparing her to kaliyo then she is a patron saint and can do no wrong, though she has no problem with murder, mayhem or alittle sleaze as long as its in the line of duty. ^^

I found Ensign Temple to be the best pure dps companion choice. Vector does ok if geared, but ranged companions seem to take less damage in most situations. Also, you can just hand your old gear to her or Doctor Lokin as they use the same armor making it easier to gear them up. She's your romance option if Kaliyo's sociopathic ways and swinging lifestyle get to be too much for you. Found the best gift results to be from Imperial Memorabilia.
