The location of this NPC is unknown.

A Twi'lek born into slavery on the planet Ryloth, Vette escaped a life of servitude to become an accomplished rogue and treasure hunter. Too daring for her own good, she managed to breach Imperial defenses and sneak onto Korriban, gaining entry into the most sacred Sith tombs before being caught.

Years of travel and close calls have made Vette quick with a blaster. Outspoken, uppity and unfiltered, she can be fiercely loyal or relentlessly taxing, making her a source of annoyance to some and of great amusement to others.

Why remove shock collar? Because she's actually one of the best written companions if you let her show it.

I absolutely adored this companion. I played almost every class to getting there companion and she is without a doubt my favorite. Best line in the game is when you remove the collar and you insist that you and her be partners, not master and slave. I wont say because I don't want to ruin it for anyone....but it was priceless.

You get Vette around level 7 from the jail cell (you should recognize her from earlier). Hold on to medium armor that isn't worth it for you, as she may be able to upgrade. If you want to improve your favor with her take any social option that is sarcastic or asks for credits. To answer another common question I keep seeing. If you want to equip her custom skin hit c to bring up your character sheet and click the companion tab at the bottom. Now b to bring up your bag and just click the item. I'll update with anything else helpful I learn :)

Unlike Jaesa, you can't sleep with her unless you marry her first.
And you need about 8000 affection to get there.

Romancing & Courting gifts seem to start taking affect immediately after you reach Act/Chapter 2.

Although she does like courting gifts, her favorite by far is the Underworld Goods. in the begining I gave her Courting Gift rank 1, 24 affection, Underworld Good rank 1 96 affection.

I enjoyed having her around. She makes some funny comments and does well in combat, as long as you don't let her tank.

I can confirm without the shock collar you need to have a male character to have the courting gifts work. As a female character without the shock collar the courting gifts give the same as the one star gifts.

I can confirm that she does not like Courting gifts as much as Underworld Goods early on. I assume this is based on Affection level, but I can't be sure. She started out not liking Courting gifts very much at all for me, then eventually they evened out.

I'm curious as to what the level is for the 'courting' storyline to begin. At Level 28 I just got Vette to 10k affection and nothing is going on in that neighborhood.

Every time I give Vette a courting gift, she is like: Hey, thanks...
And I get around +12 affection. According to everything I read, she's supposed to Love or Favorite the Courting items. What's the deal?

I thought most companions that were romanceable started showing around 2500. I'm at 3000+ and I'm almost lvl 30 and flirting yields no affection. I am neutral so far tho and I'd like to stay that way. Is that what's impeding me or do I need to level more to get her to respond to courting?
