The location of this NPC is unknown.
Although not a household name, Tharan Cedrax is well known in several circles. In the casinos of Nar Shaddaa, he is cursed as a card-counting mathematical genius. To the eligible women of the galaxy, he is a famous charmer who sees rejection as an intriguing challenge. Among technologists, he earned accolades for solving a technical paradox that revolutionized computer slicing; despite his achievements, however, Tharan isn't taken seriously by the galaxy's scientific community, which looks down on him as a playboy rather than a serious researcher.
In recent years, Tharan has taken an interest in "exo-technology," an almost unknown field involving esoteric alien sciences, and gone into business making custom gadgets for wealthy clients. Often accompanied by his lovely holographic companion, Holiday, Tharan has spent his credits freely, enjoying the very best Nar Shaddaa has to offer while staying just shy of its dangers.

The first time I saw a Consular with Tharan, I was on Alderaan. The two entered combat a ways off in front of me then, all of a sudden, a purple girl appeared out of nowhere and started to do the wiggly dance. When the girl disappeared, I looked around and saw Tharan and the Consular were gone. I have no idea where they went. I sheepishly realized I was staring at a hologram the whole time. I tipped my hat in solitary silence to the nameless Consular and his roguish friend, Tharan, then got back to the task at hand.
Holiday is quite effective at what she does.

Tharan likes conversation options that aren't indulgent on Force philosophy, don't use Force Powers, aren't overly violent and show pragmatism and cynicism.

Be aware that when he summons holiday, she WILL count as a target for enemy mobs and they will aggro on her if in range. For instance, if you were killing a mob at a distance with another pack close-by that is not in your aggro range, if tharan summons holiday, those nearby mobs that didn't aggro beforehand WILL attack her if she is in their aggro radius, and after "killing" her they will ALL come after you.

There are more customizations for Tharan on Belsavis, sold by a droid in the republic base in the minimum security section.

Yep... Tharan is sadly a one time thing. The only companion who isn't obsessed with killing everything and he apparently is dating a hologram (despite protests she doesn't actually fit that for him). Oddly enough, he does seem to actually care about/want to date you as if you say no (which is what I did due to Holiday), he mentions how he thought that you and him had something special. (Though, for whatever reason, the conversation for the next chat/quest was as if I had said yes)

You get Tharan Cedrax after finishing your class mission on Nar Shaddaa. He Is my main companion and does quite abit of healing and CC using Holiday, meanwhile being able to deal some damage at the same time.

What a metrosexual in scarf! XD He is fapping at Holiday, but she is not real! After combat he says "Hey, Holiday, were you watching?" When I resurect him after his death, he onle says "Ah, look at my cloth!" I tried to flirt with him, I don't want romance with Iresso, but seems so Tharan only likes foofaraw and holographic chicks.

Dilana, I believe most of the ranged DPS/Healers that use blasters are like that.
