On one of the final stages, Defeat Rakton's Elite Guards, I was having a hard time defeating the two mobs. As a Vanguard tank, they healed each other faster than I could dps them. So I finally ran back to the rendezvous point where Captain Marshall was hoping they would tether, but they followed me all the way to where the ten republic soldiers were waiting to help me out. :P

If you're a commando, a simple solution rather than pulling them back to guards is just to concussive shot one (I did the one on the right) and burn the first one down. When he goes to heal use cryogrenade to interrupt it or concussion charge (WILL break the CC of the other guard, so Line of Sight the first guard behind a box or something). For the second guard, you can do any of the above, or I was even lazier with the 2nd one. I concussion shot him when he went to heal and immediatly hammer shot to break the CC so it wouldn't heal him, but instead just interrupted the spell... The guards weren't as bad as people claimed with CC, and elara healing me.

As a commando using Elara for heals this was very easy to do. I used concussive round on one guard and killed the other. And Rakton was just as easy to kill.

Last of the class quests. Next mission that shows up in the Log is Crystal Ball, which leads to Ilum

The conversation given here for Elara Dorne will be for Aric Jorgan if you chose him as your XO.

Are there any more class quests after you had this in?

As a shield specialist with Elara healing, I found the elite guards to be a complete and total pain in the ass, but I just stuck with one of them until he was dead, and Elara was able to keep me up. I did have to be sure she didn't draw aggro from the second one, but it worked out in the end for me. Now, I think that the fact the expansion just came out and they modified Shield Specialist pretty significantly helped. Or maybe it didn't. I dunno, anyway, not impossible, just annoying. Rakton was simple, comparatively, he didn't even try to heal.

You are a genius. Did this a couple times and got spanked. Pulling them out to the guards was a life saver!

The elite guards are strong category but are far harder than most elite mobs you've faced so far. they have major distance knockbacks that are on extremly short timers (less than 5 seconds). bring friends or use the tactics mentioned here. Don't be afraid to take the return to medical center option, it's quite near by. You can also drag Rakton up to the angry mob of Republic NPC's as well for short work. Make sure you've tagged him with some damage first or the usual rules of xp apply. Be aware there are some serious LOS issues up in the area with the republic mobs. They won't have problems hitting any npc you drag up buy you likely will.

I did it with the general also. What a great strategy! Thanks for sharing it.

Fot those who can't turn in the final stage of the quest :

After defeating Rakton, you have to take the evacuation shuttle. It will take you to Coruscant.
Upon arrival, the quest log directs you to Garza's office, but you won't be able to enter.
And when looking on your map, you'll see the quest turn in is at the Gree Hydrosupply station.
Obviously, you can't turn in your quest there. I even doubt if Garza ever goes there ...

Here's a workaround :

Use your fleet pass and use your own ship to travel to Coruscant.
Somehow, this triggers the next step in the quest line and let's you enter Garza's office to complete the final chapter of your class story.

Hope this helps and saves you some time running around Coruscant wondering what's wrong...
