Poisonous Strategy

Imperial droid G4-T has informed you of a potential threat to the Empire's crystal mines. Republic forces have set up camp nearby, and surely plan to impede the Empire's operations. You can wipe out the Republic troops in the area, but sabotaging their camp's enviro controls should force their Jedi commanders out as well.

Rewards from the main quest at level 50:
* 13,995 credits
* 3 Daily Commendations
* Choice of Advanced Battle Enhancement 22, Advanced Vigilant Enhancement 22, Advanced Initiative Enhancement 22, Advanced Quick Savant Enhancement 22 or Black Market Prototype Storage Case

Reward from all bonus stages:
* 2,332 credits
* 2 Daily Commendations

It's worth noting that terrain at the site of the final bonus stage made the fight difficult, causing line of sight issues (ie. "Cannot see target" errors when trying to attack the target or heal your party). I was able to get around this by positioning on a "peak" of snow (even though it's very flat there anyway).

I found this quest impossible with two people.

If you are struggling to unlock further Ilum dailies. The dailies appear to unlock progressively as you work through the Ilum storyline (or non-repeatable) missions. The missions begin with "First Strike" linked below and end with the lead-in quest for the Flashpoint "False Emperor".
I found that each time I completed a story hand in, as I went to leave the base, I would notice another daily quest had become available.

As for poison strategy itself: Fairly difficult to 2man in some cases. When you click the objective 2 elite jedi will spawn. The quest is made much easier if you, or your group-mate have a CC which can be used in-combat. Agree before clicking whether to CC the blue or green lightsaber wielder (easiest way to tell them apart) as there will be limited time to mark while they run at you. Thereafter CC one and kill the other. For the individual combats the main things to focus on are getting plenty of interupts in - as the abilities of each are nasty.

Is there a prerequisite to this? I finished my class quest, and can only get two Ilum dailies.

I have the same problem, I finished my class quest (bounty hunter) and I only have access to 2 of the dailies on Ilum.

Just solo'd this easily as a Sith Assassin. Learn to play or abandon the quest.

As of 1.02, Dark Side BHs can now get the prerequisite for this quest as it fixes their class quest. The most difficult part is that when you sabotage the climate controls, 2 elites spawn which must be killed for credit.

Soloable as sith sorc. But ye pretty annoying that target bug mention above.
By TresEquis at 2012-02-23 21:09:36
As a tank assassin, I solo this with my companion healer with no problem.

NOT soloable as a melee class. At least not as jugger tank. Got at least 116 artefact items on me and my companion. No chance to really do this quest. Perhaps with luck sometimes but not on a daily bases. *!@#ing sucks that melee classes are &*!@ed here too jsut as in the warzones especially hut ball. You get knocked back every few seconds by 2 sniper NPCs and they are in cove rso you cant force jump back. And the 2 super elites that spawn do an enormous aoe...you can only run away which mean you do 0 damage. Ranged can just change places and keep damaging them while they cast. !@#$ you bioware. I dont want to have a damn group for everything. FAQs by bioware: "can i play this game solo too? sure". A blatant lie. You cant do jack #$%^ solo in this game and im tired of having to get a group even for damn daily quests. And melee chars got #$%^ed over mighty good by bioware. I wont renew my subscription. @#$% you bioware.
