The Fall of House Cortess

Your mission to eradicate the Eagle's terrorist network has brought you to Alderaan. Working with House Cortess and Vector Hyllus, you've determined that Baroness Chay Cortess herself is financing the other terror cells.

In order to breach House Cortess's defenses and bring the baroness to justice, you must go with Vector to the House Cortess shield generator in the Glarus Valley and place Killik eggs in the mechanism. First, however, you must find the generator.

Note: If you are working on the "Pierce the Shield" bonus mission (kill 25 forces), it needs to be completed before activating the "Breach the Cortess Palace Defenses" step.

***WARNING*** Light-Side Plot Outcome Ahead ***LAST WARNING***

Should you choose to go the light-side option, and not kill Baron Cortess, and not let his house fall to the Killiks, you will later receive a mail on his behalf, also containing Tarul Wine. I am recording the mail you receive for posterity (mail doesn't last very long), and for the dark-siders among us to see how the other half plays out:


This message is sent in the name of Baron Peyar Cortess, Sword of the Castle Lands.

Although the baron has already extended his apologies to the Imperial ambassador, he also wishes to express his profound regret over the necessity of your involvement in house affairs.

Baroness Chay was a valued member of the house, and she will be mourned. Nonetheless, her action in support of enemies of the Empire cannot be forgiven.

You offered Cortess a chance at redemption when you joined our fight against the Killiks. Difficult days lie ahead, but the baron has recalled his son Pashon to Alderaan and believes together they will forge a greater future and a true partnership with the Empire.

It does say it in the quest text, but for whatever reason the generators are no where near House Cortess. You have to go to Glarus Valley which is a heck of a transport ride away from the Killek cave and house cortess. If you have the outpost Ghrent Thranta flight point that's probably your best bet.
