Mandalorians have taken demolition droids and large bombs to the top of the unfinished New Tarisian Dawn skyscraper in the Sinking City and are using them to destroy the building. Veldo Balesh views the building as a symbol of the Tarisian reconstruction effort and wants you to stop the Mandalorians and their bombs.

To deactivate the Mandalorians' bombs, you'll need an ion discharger. Locate one near the generator on the main level of the New Tarisian Dawn construction site.

Quest and NPC has been removed from live apparently. And the sub-zone "New Tarisian Dawn" has been walled off from the rest of the Sinking City. You can still see on the map where the road was supposed to go, and it still shows on the overall map. There is even a Republic Medical Droid near the "entrance".

Tyvm Namzor! :) I thought I was going a bit crazy but towards the end I was leaning towards that it may possibly have been removed. I did find the medical droid you spoke of as well as the walled off area.

I hope it gets added back in eventually so I can get the Codex Achievement: Title (Mandalorian Bane) from Taris.

Where on Taris do you pick this mission up at? I can't seem to find Veldo Balesh anywhere..

Latest update with the new expansion 2.0.0b. The quest is now a requirement for the Republic Hero of Taris legacy achievement. The npc that gives the quest is still gone, and area for the quest is still blocked off.
