This space mission awards 2 Daily Commendations after completing the daily for this mission. The object of this mission is to destroy 175 mines, disable 4 ship engines and to destroy the bay of the Mines layer. I found it extremely helpful to have at least grade 5 ship upgrades as well as the Power Conversion Module http://www.torhead.com/item/1nYLp6S/power-conversion-module and the Electronic Warfare Pod http://www.torhead.com/item/hA6YdxD/electronic-warfare-pod

Successful completion of this mission awards the title "Hot Shot Pilot". It is a pretty difficult mission, though not the most difficult one. Unlike previous missions, you can't leave your blasters on high the whole time and blast away at everything in sight. Rather, you need to switch to the option that recharges your shields faster when you don't actually need your blasters - this will go a long way towards keeping you alive. Another neat trick is to blow your EMP Generator in the middle of the first minefield. Most mines I've blown up this way is 94...still trying to break 100, but 94 gives you a really sweet jump on things, allowing you not to have to worry about mines as much, and concentrate on other things more, incl. bonuses. This mission also is a daily quest, awarding 2x Daily Commendations each day for successful completion.
