There's another cutscene on this quest: the discussion in the sith airlock where Sor-nak get POed on account of you taking the Gormak with you.
From what i explored you have three possiblities:
1. Force Persuade Sor-Nak that there is no Gormak
2. Sweet talking him, either by saying is only one Gormak that leaves the planet or the diplomat bribes him with some kind of new robot
3. Kill Gormak :)

Ill try to Force Persuade Sor-nak and see what do i get from helping the Gormak.
