@Java: The "Exhaustion zone" has a path that lights up in sections. If you stay on the lit parts, you won't be in the "Exhaustion" part. The path mainly sticks to the right side.
@AtrixTheEnder: I would've preferred if you could hover your mouse over the plaques to find out a bit more, myself.
Another option is to refuse to hand over the black codex to the two siths, choose to destroy the codex )dark side option) and kill the two sith (both are gray-strong mobs). Minister is pissed cause you destroy the codex and the only chance to chase and terminate the remaining star cabal members, the Intelligence doesnt get rebuild, the minister might keep his post/job and you continue to work as a rogue agent.
PS: I played as a full dark char, killed/betrayed Janus, i let Chance die and killed Ardun Kothe.

Imperial Agent endings
Full Light side: You defect to the Republic and ally with Ardun Kothe in the SIS. This involves saving Chance on Taris, not killing Ardun at the end of Act 2 and giving him the Black Codex at the end of Act 3.
Neutral, leaning light side: Imperial Intelligence is dissolved and the Sith take over command of the personnel and resources. You kill/spare Darth Jadus and give the Minister of Intelligence access to the Black Codex at the end of Act 3. In doing so you agree to wipe all records of your identity and work for as a free agent for the good of the Empire but without Sith control.
These are the two light side-ish endings that I have gone through so far. Dark side allows you to join up with Darth Jadus as his personal assassin and reform the Empire as he sees fit or to kill Darth Jadus but still serve as a Sith lackey within Intelligence. Hopefully people will elaborate more who have actually done these endings.
