Breaking the Code

The Tatooine militia reports that the Geonosians are raiding settlements and coordinating their attacks with coded signals. If the militia could crack the code, it could prepare for Geonosian attacks.

Search for Geonosian signal devices at the overrun militia shelter in Jundland, and obtain the codes the Geonosians are using.

You're probably here because the item isn't highlighted at all on any of the maps...

2124,-1563 are the co-ordinates for the item you're after. It is a computer mounted in the southernmost corner of the northwestern room on the diagram above.

The building is (creepy) crawling with Geonosians (ho ho), who hit quite hard (taking down my Consular's Force Armour with ease). Getting to this item is possible solo, but I did it at 32 (with a DPS Consular who has filled Relic slots) and it was quite a struggle.

This is part of Manister Base. Manister Base is the outpost that is Northeast of Outpost Largona and Southeast of Camp Karnori. There are two roads to it.

The Overrun Militia Shelter is the second largest building in Manister Base. My friend and I literally drove ALL OVER Tatooine looking for which area this was in, because we couldn't find it! Hope this helps.

If you're going to try and solo this as a non-stealth job your best bet is to take off all items with durability and just make a run for it and hope to get in as far as possible, resurrect and keep on going. There's no mobs on the immediate platform once you get up, however there are mobs inside the room with the console. The console is right by the door entrance, so you don't need to enter the room. Get close enough to click on the console then QT out.

Co-ords are in there as part of the game, there is no way they are unhelpful, as they are more precise than alt+tabbing in and out of game to compare the map pointer on two maps.

Building to the left on platform in middle where you destroy supply crates (the one with lots of war droids). Easy to solo whatever class you are. Run to the second floor and die there. Respawn and stay near wall to pick up the codes from computer. Going out is even easyer, run and mobs will lose aggro.

Was able to solo it with a lvl 30 guardian and a dps companion,after you fight the trio in the entryway you realy dont have to fight any of the other npc's in the building,with some timing conerning the two patrolling enemy's you can walk right between the stationary spawns and avoid drawing agro alltogether,the mobs in the room with the console had no elite's among them and there was a big security chest there aswel

If you're a Scoundrel, be careful choosing your reward! I chose the Blaster Pistol, which was not darkened as if I couldn't use it, only to realize that it is an offhand weapon only. Since I can't dual-wield, I can't use it. Of course, it's bind on pickup, too. I should have chosen the scattergun.

Cords are unhelpful to some new to MMO's so my location in the submitted screenshot is where its at. The North building in the Geonosian area SW of Camp Karnori. Also 2057, 428 is never the right cords...SWTOR has some kind of bug that if u open your map its on that cord when u are on Tatooine and maybe other planets. Open your map then move an inch and it changes.

ALSO the screenshot of the second floor is completely unhelpful. Whoever submitted that you did not assist anyone. As you cant see the second floor till u have fought through all the Geonosians. Once on second floor the quest shows up again and tells u right where to go. I have also submitted a screenshot of the first floor layout so you know your in the proper building without fighting for 5 minutes to find out you are not.
