Shadow Spawn

Lord Shalath has recruited you to bind a creature spawned by Sith alchemy.

First you'll need to recover several Sith runes, which were in the possession of some Sith acolytes who tried to bind the creature and failed. Head to the malignant bog and take the Sith runes from the bodies of the dead Sith acolytes.

Tasks:

  • Retrieve the Rune of Victory
  • Retrieve the Rune of Power
  • Retrieve the Rune of Strength
  • Retrieve the Rune of Passion
  • Retrieve the Rune of Freedom
  • Meditate on the Sith Runes in Order
  • Place the Runes on the Altar
  • Defeat the Dark Sithspawn

    Not very grateful, are you?

They just had to summon a dark side beast--a Sithspawn--and bring it to me. I even researched the artifact to bind it. Could you help?

    That's a risky ritual.

So, just to be clear, click the Runes in this order:
Passion > Strength > Power > Victory > Freedom.

If you can read Aurebesh, don't get fooled by the order of the runes alphabetically!

The runes are in your mission inventory.
You have to use them in order, according to the Sith Code that you should have learned by now:
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

You have to open your Inventory (Mission Items Tab) at the Altar (inside the instance once you have all the Runes) & 'Use' (Right-Click) the Runes in the order stated Above by agentsvr & jeffois -

Passion > Strength > Power > Victory > Freedom.

The Alter then becomes 'Clickable'

Click the Altar & be ready, the Large Sith Spawn crashes through the back wall & straight at you. It fights in melee & appears to have at least one Knock Down attack.

It had about 13.5K Hit Points - I cannot be 100% certain on that, as when I realised I could write this description up the corpse had despawned..

Soloed as a level 15 Sith inquisitor sorcerer. I kept static barrier up on my companion and healed him while he tanked. I used overload and electrocute when they were off cooldown. I used Channel the Force when he was around 2500 hp. Once he got close to 1200 hp, I ran back so I wouldn't get hit by his knockdown. He killed my companion in a few seconds then ran after me and I used overload and electrocute, then burst as much as i could.
