Freeing the Fallen
Lord Atren has asked you to free a group of insane Jedi being guarded by a Jedi Master named Averon. Atren hopes that the maddened Jedi will bring further chaos to the prison once released.
Tasks:
- Defeat Jedi Master Averon
- Bonus mission: Clear the Way
- Deactivate the Prison Cells
Important conversationsClass Companion
Hmph. I guess you'll have to do my bidding, then. Unless you want to defy Darth Atroph's only son.
Whatever it was, it corrupted them, drove them mad as mynocks. So the Jedi Council sent them here for safekeeping.
Those Jedi should be out of their cells, running loose, bringing destruction and chaos to this place. That's why you're going to release them.

You dont even have to help the droids. I have dragged the droids down twice now. Once the Droids massacred the Jedi and the second time the Jedi BARELY scaped thru. He killed the droids with about 2% health left. The result probably depends on the order he targets the droids. If its a close fight a properly timed attack should see you able to finish both the droids and the Jedi, you probably wont have a companion left at this stage though as he is sacrificed to the droid pack to let you get a big enough lead to get them to the Jedi so beware. :) .
Addendum: Soloing the Jedi is pretty easy with a decently geared healer. As a dps specced Juggernaut I use Quinn and usually finish with 70% plus health.
General tip: Dont stand in the flashing force whatever the Jedi drops. You wont die fast, but you probably will die in the end.
Make yourself naked (so your things don't break) and run in as far as you can. I managed to get to the boss after only one death, so no long wait times.
The boss is pretty much tank and spank, once my companion died I just force sped back and forth kiting him with force lightning till he died.
The reward for the quest is a choice out of three purple 50 mods and 3 daily commendations.
I love doing this daily. There are so many ways of doing this solo. First, it's entirely possible to stealth all the way in while using a few short CDs. If not, naked run as far as you can go and res at the Jedi.
Once there, you don't even need a healing companion as a tank. The only damage he really does is his AOE, which is pretty much avoidable since you know he casts one right after the last one dies off, so kite away. Ranged companion DPS is best since melee DPS tend to stand in the AOE and die halfway through the fight. Even then, you should have no problem killing the Jedi by yourself; the companion is just bonus damage.
Alternatively, you can aggro the last pack of droids and drag them over to the Jedi, who will start attacking the droids. At this point, if you have a break-out-of-combat stealther, do it, and the NPCs will fight each other to the death. If not, hopefully the Jedi will take aggro off you so you can sit back and watch the outcome. If the Jedi is going to win, finish him off while he's weak (the Sith way). Otherwise, let the droids do the work, and when he's dead, they'll reset back and the objective is completed. Tagging the Jedi is not needed. Then just activate the console and complete the mission (I sometimes forget that part and have to stealth my way back in =P).
It's faster to let the droids kill the Jedi, but you miss out on loot. Sometimes he drops nice loot, like custom sabers and such. Either way, it's a fun easy daily.
Don't know if this was patched, but the droids will not follow me to the jedi master.
However, if you run past the droids to the jedi master and aggro HIM, HE will follow you or your pet back to the droids, either getting murdered or severely weakened in the process..
