For those who cannot make heads or tails of coordinates, like me:

The Bantha Drifts area is east-by-southeast of Outpost Thorazan. It is a sand people outpost, looking kind of like a small jutting of rock formation north of outpost Zaroshe, on the map.

In this area is a Bounty-Hunter only story area. JUST south of it you will see what looks like a small area leading southeast seemingly to a dead end, but when you get there, what you'll see in front of you is the Bantha Drifts Tunnel.

When you finish getting through the tunnel, you will be just south of a free-for-all PVP area. You will also be a little north of a heroic sand people area, and a little further south of that, two imperial "group" story areas, one of them having NPC's from the Sons of Palawa tribe milling about outside it. Continue south, making sure you stay well west of Mos Anek. You will reach an Exchange outpost with a story-area bunker at the very southern end. This is where you want to go.

Three NPC's that you have to kill. One silver (strong), two regular, all about level 37. I concussion-charged the strong and used single target attacks (full auto, and if you're a commando, charged shot) to take out the regulars. Deactivate Jorgan's Thermal Bomb and Spread Fire, and put him in Sniper mode. When the regulars are down, go full blast on the strong. If you're a commando, use your Reactive Shield at about half health if you need to. You can reactivate Jorgan's Thermal Bomb at this point also, if desired.

The exact Dune Sea coordinates for the entrance to the Bantha Drifts Tunnel are -703,-892. It is almost perfectly southeast of Outpost Thorazan. I'm standing there right now.

-718,484 is off the bottom edge of the Dune Sea into the exhaustion area. I'm not sure how those coordinates could have worked for anyone.

To summarize. Tatoonie, Dune Sea. Go SE from the main camp, until you hit the imp camp. (then you've gone too far). Go a bit north until you hit a cave. Then take the cave over, and from there it's south. There are 3 mobs 37/38 so you should be 35 at min.

If you want to get into Imperial Territory without being roflstomped by the guards, there is a cave near a Sand People's encampment which allow you to go from Dune Sea to Junland without any harm.

The coords in Dune Sea are X= - 718 ; Y=482 and in Junland X= - 414 ; Y=476.

Thanks for the tip! The cave is a little above the Imperial Outpost Zaroshe in The Dune Sea.

I went through Jundland to get there without realizing that there was an easier way to get there through the Dune Sea. If you try this, you'll find that the only way to get through is by passing through the Imperial town of Mos Anek, which has level 50 guards.

If you find yourself in this position like I did, you can still make it through. Just go up the ridge to the south and drop into the middle of the town, bypassing the guards at the east entrance. You'll still have to make it past the guards when you leave through the west side of town, but you should be able to make it past them without dying more than once, I think. I managed to get through alive by just running for it after they shot up my speeder.

Deowyn's coordinates of -703, -892 are correct if you're using the "cursor(x,y)" value on the map
Kraki is correct with -705,484 if you use the "player (x,y)" value.

But 99% of people don't quote the player(x,y) value because it's useless to find anything unless you're actually standing on the spot.
ie - you can't scroll your mouse over the location to find where you want to go to.

Ok...maybe i'm just stupid. I found the Bantha Drifts Tunnel. But it didn't lead me ANYWHERE NEAR the quest location. I have spent over 3 hours over 3 separate afternoons trying to figure out how to get past Mos Anek. I have been thru the bantha drifts tunnel from both directions, but quest marker on my map is saying I have to get somewhere south of Mos Anek. HELP!
