Very cool looking speeder. Slicing lockboxes and missions will get you this recipe. The mount itself is BoP, which means it is for Cybertechs only.

Added some screenshots. Looks pretty cool in my opinion. My crew skills are Cybertech, Scavenging and Slicing. Only material that I couldn't get myself was Titanium which is gathered by Underworld Trading Skill. If you don't have Underworld Trading check for Kiosks. Prices are not high on my server.

Something to note is also looking to buy the schematics instead of the Underworld Trading mats. I know a lot of people I've talked to who take Cyber are also taking Scavenging and Slicing, but another route is to stick to Cyber/Scavenge/Underworld and just buy the schematics as you go. I was able to buy this one for 10k and the Hotrigged for 50k. At level 28 I'm set for both of them and it only cost 60k, which I had a little over 90k on me just from questing and doing the space-mission dailies. Honestly, though I'm not sure how big a difference that 100% to 110% will be so the 50k might have been wasted because I sure do like this thing in white. Would be nice if they ever do a craftable color change option with a few mats difference to change the color of what you make. Oh well, just an idea. But definitely consider the Underworld for mats and buying the schematic route, if you don't have alts with Slicing. You get a lot more mats to level Cyber with instead of going to Auction all the time plus the benefit extra credits to spend elsewhere.

Can't say I'm too crazy about its looks. I'm really disappointed in all the cybertech mounts. They're not unique but rather just commonly available models with a different skin color.

The level 25 hoverbike is a real disappointment in terms of materials needed to created it (it would have cost over 20k to build on my server vs 8k to buy). But with this custom-built speederbike, if the price is right on your server, you can build it for less than the 25k to buy a level 40 mount.

I love this speederbike, totally worth the time and credits. IMHO One of the better looking "sitting" speeders.

As a point of reference, on my server, I was able to obtain the needed Titanium for ~800 credits or less per unit. All said and done, I spent a total of 12,400 credits on the 22x Titanium needed. As a Cybertech, I had the other needed mats (was just short a little Resinite). Considering the vendor-sold rank 2 speeders are 25,000 credits each, I think I came out a reasonable amount ahead in total expenditures for the "custom" L40 mount. Definitely check pricing on your server to see if this is such a no-brainer for you too!

As of 1.2 I believe this bike is now BOE but not 100% sure.

I only wish they would have left off the front protrusion, then this would be my #1 fav lvl 40 speeder.

When you consider the opportunity cost for the rest of the mats, you *might* have come out a little bit ahead.
