THIS is ABSOLUTELY NOT her Blade. Nothing to say it's ugly like hell >_<
Here real Blade looks more like this: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=satele+lightsaber#/d2s19c3
the best View on here Blade is mostly in the Trailer "Hope".
But this Saber has NOTHING to do with Satele Shan.
She came equipped with a Double-Bladed Lightsaber. o_O And was kicking people and stuff in her first appearance.
Not sure why you think of her as a Sage.
According to the Wookieepedia site, it claims that Bastila Shan is a Jedi Sentinel. Initially she used a yellow single bladed saber, but after Revan's "death", took up the dual blade. I've copied a piece from the site for you here:
"As a Jedi Sentinel, Shan used a single yellow-bladed lightsaber for a time. After Revan's "death," she exchanged the weapon for a double-bladed lightsaber. After the attack on the Endar Spire, Brejik found it when he salvaged her escape pod, and when Revan killed Brejik during the aftermath of the Taris swoop race, he returned it to Shan."
There is definately some differences between Star Wars official cannon regarding the Jedi and what is represented within both KOTOR and SWTOR.
First, the Jedi Knight is a rank that all Jedi hold and is granted after successfully completing the Jedi Trials. Once a Jedi reaches the rank of Knight, they have the ability to further their study in one of three positions: Guardian, Sentinel, and Consular. There are, however, other positions and titles that a Jedi can hold later on in their career, but those go beyond the scope of this post.
With SWTOR, they decided to pick Jedi Knight and Jedi Consular as the base classes for force sensitives, then further specialize into one of two advanced classes. Sentinel and Guardian for the Jedi Knight, and Sage and Shadow for Jedi Consulars. The Sage and Shadows are actual Jedi occupations, though they are rarely talked about or heard of.
I don't mind scarificing a little lore for the sake of gameplay. What I dislike, even though I know most of the time it's unavoidable, are complete retcons.

To all you people actually commenting on the item itself....ie where to find, stat relevancy, superiority / comparisons to other like weapons. +1.
To all you people endlessly nerding out on Star Wars lore in the weapons section -1.
Seriously there are places for this, like the community pages. Let's keep on topic as not to ruin this database with useless crap.
