The Dark Temple area:
At level 23 I made 6 laps between the Speeder area and the front door of the temple. I stayed to the left of center on the way toward the temple and then came back down the other side. The radar is just about wide enough.
My threat level was low enough that I was able to avoid spending time killing mobs unless they were standing very near the node.

Used Murzik's suggestion at the Dark Temple and did 21 laps.

I noticed I was going to fast at Lap 4 when I got mostly Desh and then was faster than the respawn at Lap 5. I started killing the 4 elites in the general path area and never outpaced the respawns from that point. Lap 4 is the only time I got more than a couple Desh points, so it stands out as an anomaly.
