On Balmorra, head to the Heroic Area Sundari Flatlands and farm the Colicoid elites. Each one drops multiple cosmic trace particles...easy to get over 100 in less than an hour of work. (Helps to be level 50 :)

Also they are from the nodes Fossilized Tendril throughout Quesh, also 4/10 dropped off silver mobs in that planet as well. Also on Hoth there are a few of the nodes but less overall, but they dropped 6/10 off silver mobs.

logik8469 , you r wrong too) couse u and Amara playing for republic (Balmora is 35lvl with 3-4 grade samples), empire Balmora have only 1-2 grade =)
"Cosmic Trace Particle" is on Taris (empire), and Balmora (republic). have a good farming ;)

Expanding on site400's post....easy harvesting for higher lvl Republic on Balmorra...@ the Lower Sundari Outpost...pick up the 2 [HEROIC] quests...head to the heroic area...pick up the 3rd [HEROIC] quest which is located there within in the heroic area...all colicoid bugs in this heroic area yield either Bio-energy Cell Samples, Cosmic Trace Particles or Inert Virus...avoid the Champion bugs to save time...they're a pain and take a while to bring down, but still easy. Pickin up the [HEROIC] quests not necessary, just a guide to the heroic area where bugs respawn...tho rewards not bad for low lvl alts or auction...HAPPY BIOANALYSING!

It's the area in the south (1170,1690) and u need to be skill 250 to Bioanalise them.

You can also get them in Alderaan near kings road just got to avoid the level 40 bugs there if your not high enough level

This is one of many Fossilized Tendril's found throughout Balmorra. With bioanalysis, when you farm the herb, you get Cosmic Trace Particle. Once you farm any plant on Balmorra, the same plant may or may not respawn in that location. This particular location was Y: -1184 X: 1434 Z: 138 in the Markaran Plains outside of the Akara Droid Factory.

Don't know what to say other than I've been farming it for 2 days on Balmorra getting it from the fossillized Tendril.

the best item i could find was some microscopic symbiotes and they required 70 skill in bioanalysis. so please tell me where you could find these on Balmorra
