Mine also does not have an augment slot. I wonder how or if its possible to get the augment?

to make a version with an augment slot you would use an additional item (forget the name) during the crafting process but the items were removed after beta testing
don't know if there are plans to re-add them

thx) now trying to reach blue shard in Tatooine :D baloon is too slow >_< and sometimes buggy, simply disappears and you fall down
