Krayt Dragon Pearl
Related
Krayt dragon pearls were lustrous, colored stones found in the last chamber of the gizzard of krayt dragons. The stones were used to help crush food eaten by them, and over time, they became rounded because of how much they moved around. They could be found in colors such as blue, green, red, white and black. Due to a refractive quality peculiar to the pearl, they could be used in a lightsaber if properly cleaned, prepared and installed, though it was a difficult task. The pearls were seen as exceptionally valuable by the public (easily worth upwards of a hundred thousand credits each), as well as proof a person had killed a krayt dragon (to Tusken Raiders, a sign of bravery).
[p]Han Solo used a krayt dragon pearl to bribe his way into the famous sabacc game where he won the Millennium Falcon from Lando Calrissian.Personally I don't get the need for the lesson in SW lore on here, its what wookieepedia ir for.
Anyway the drop rate on these things is insanely low, the 2 missions that are mention here probably do drop them i can only say the 4 i managed to get over the course of over 20k credits in grinding came for the seware one. I can understand them being rare but DAMN, these are like legendary rare.
These aren't legendary rare.
They drop fairly often, about the same as chryo... wind seems to drop less. On my artifice toon I have three companions and only two go after gemstones with 2000 affection on one and 1000 affection on the other. I've been picking up 5 - 15 a day (8 - 12 hours playing), you turn that around into items that sell for 15 - 20k and it seems about right. Could probably get 30+ if I played for 24 hours straight.
