Weapon upgrades should be your priority when deciding how to spend your commendations. While much of the commendation gear will be replaced on the next planet, be sure to pick this up before moving on as it will not be replaced as quickly.

What's nice is if you like how this hilt looks/the item name, you can just continue to drop mods into it and use it for the rest of time.

I purchased this lightsaber at level 18 and it was a great way to spend my commendations. I would suggest spending them on weapons as well. This has a great set of mods on it, and if you pre ordered and got the Black and Yellow crystal it makes it even one endurance point better. Although, I'm sure you can find better crystals at that level.

For endurance, there's better crystals to be had, the blue resolution crystals (req lvl 15) has +6, and relatively easy to get the schematics- just R. engineer a few of the greens as an artificer. In anycase the drop in stats to the PO crystal is well worth ditching what I am coming to call the 'ugly stick'. and it ain't cuz it makes others ugly...
