Supply Officer Meller is the Equipment Commendations Vendor in Tatooine Moss IIa market area. Coords are approx X: 861 Y: 3171 Z: 497.

Since the end of beta you cannot exchange a currency (Commendation) to another one to prevent mass farming of lowbie quests

Sorry that I don't have a link, but I'm almost positive that I read that they scrapped the idea of commendation trading between the various planets.

Repeatable missions on the Republic side for these include:

  • Reap the Whirlwind, rated Heroic 2+, rewarding 3 commendations. Pick it up from the mayor on the north end of Salara outpost. Not difficult to solo, but slow.
  • The Long Goodbye, rated Heroic 2+, rewarding 3 commendations. Pick it up from Thorazan outpost. Trivial to solo if you have stealth, otherwise not difficult.
  • Search and Rescue, rated Heroic 4, rewarding 3 commendations. Pick it up from a guy outside the little unnamed walled-hole-in-ground residence on the road west of Dreviad outpost. Doable solo with a companion, not hard if you know how to interrupt.

There may be more repeatable missions, but I had enough commendations by then. :-) Eventually Torhead will have a list, I expect.

There is a vendor on the imperial fleet @ cursor position (4557,4570) in the Supply area

oh thats too bad, would have been nice have a bunch of commendations just laying around from previous area's that could have been beneficial if i could have upgraded them

You are suppost to be able to get these from 2x nar shadda commendations, at all the vendors however i dont see this implemented in the game yet, anyone has any information about this?
