In archeology mission level 25-32 (level 3) there is a mission that you can get Demicot Silk

This is on sale from most (if not all) Crew skill suppliers. These shops will be found in fleets, towns and cities near the Crew Skill traders. They'll be fairly easy to find, they'll be the only shop in a sea of trainers.

Do the level 3 mission to get this! The mission costs around 500g and you get 12-16 each time. Vendor sells for 100ea.
