Only keybindable way to mark mobs, usefull for tanking, except the mark is the same color as nameplates, so nobody can see it

Maybe you can mark enemy players with it? Would be extremly usefull especially in warzones. Since you can not use the normal target marks for enemy NPC mobs on players.
Also would be interesting to know who can see that mark. You? Your party? You operation? Every friendly player?
I will test it if i get to it and post the info here.

Pretty strange item. It marks an enemy target with a red diamond. It hangs over their head for 5 minutes. That's all . . .

Bought it for 500 credits from the social vendor on Hutta.

This does work in warzones. Although the health bars tend to overlap the icon. The player that you put the mark on gets a buff called Imperial Target Designator. That player can click the buff off and remove the target.
