Tatooine:
Mos Ila (Outside of town) - also found on several beasts.
Jundland Southern Waste -also found on Bloodseeker Scyk

The BEST place to farm these if youre high level is on Nar Shaddaa. Take the Taxi to Network Access, go south and a little west and pick up the quest [Heroic 4] Hunger of the Vrblthers.
Go there and farm farm farm farm till your eyes bleed. Oh, and you can do the quest as well.

can you recheck your coordinates, i found no such animal there.

they do exist at 789, -2236 but the drop rate is 20 percent but there are nods there that get you some.

Might have been bad timing on my part, sadly didn't get a single one in the whole Network Access zone (though didn't see anyone else farming).

For the Emps, the ticket is to take the Heroic Quest: Hunger of the Vrblthers as stated above. It gets you into the room that allows you farm your butt off. In 70 minutes (with cooking dinner breaks) I was able to farm 186. On my server, we're so dead, I seem to be the only one that farms these anymore .... since I never see them unless I farm them and put them up what I don't need on the GTN.

For republic found the best spot is just north of Dreviad Outpost collecting + farming Rills there

Republic-side: I get these mostly from Nar Shaddaa. The Red Light District is good for this as you can make a circuit from right to left and once you finish one side the other side has respawned (also getting Microscopic Symbiote, Luminescent Cell Culture and a few Toxic Extract). The Strong mobs on Tatooine (Rills and Scyks, some Wraids) often drop this when Bioanalyzed.

Second this. I think every strong beast on Tatooine has somewhat of a chance of dropping Genetic Anomaly, but I did get a higher droprate from Bloodseeker Scyks than any other (roughly 50%). There are also Genetic Symbiotic Growths around the Jundland area as well.

754,446 Jundland.

Approx 16 Distressed Rills, within 10 seconds travel of each other, dropping Genetic Anomaly approx 50% of the time. One of the biggest concentrations of strong mobs anywhere in the game i've seen so far. I'm farming them at L45 atm, can pull 4 before i have to mount up & travel approx 3 seconds to next set of 3-4 mobs. The ones you killed first have repopped by the time you kill the last set. The rills are dropping 2 anomalies 70% of the time too.

Not worked it out yet, but must be 100+ gathered per hr.
