I noticed when I submitted things, it didn't update the form to indicate it was successful.. which lead to me pressing submit again thinking I misclicked. I ended up having to delete a couple copies. So, that might be happening.
I wonder how many people they have going through submitted screenshots/videos? Maybe letting some of the higher reputation Wowhead users approve/deny them like we can with comments would help out.
I've been uploading as well, but I guess you don't see what other people upload until the submissions get approved by the torhead staff. In several instances, I saw that I was the only person to upload a screenshot for something, but when I checked back several hours later, I saw that someone else's screenshot suddenly appears as having been uploaded a day ago (so perhaps they're still going through a huge backlog and you have to wait a while for approval).
It would be really nice to have some sort of visual indicator, perhaps on ones own profile page to see which of your own uploads have been approved and which ones are still in limbo (or have been rejected).
If you log out and then then go to a page that has one of your pictures, you will be able to click on your name (shows as the person who submitted the pic). This will take you to a public profile and will only list the pictures that have been approved.
But yes, something in your personal profile would be nice.
I'm I correct that the contest is only for pictures submitted not approved? So if you have them submitted by the ending date, you should be ok?
