I think most people who get in will be scurrying to play and won't be browsing these forums. Hate to bust it to ya. Unless they are at work I guess and won't miss work when they get it.
I pre-ordered Aug 28 from Origin (Canada) and did not get initial invite if you are curious.

yeah. pre-ordered and registered July 21st. was in right away this morn but now at work struggling to stay focused.
reserved the name, ran a few quests and shut 'er down.

you and me both wackojacko, i dont know wtf they are doing but IF you read one of reids official posts he seems to suggest that while the majority is from early days there are randoms in there. not sure who they killed for it but there are atleast several hundred dec pre-orders whoa re in so far from the ones ive seen all are from origin pre-order.

well yeah, from what i have read on twitter it looks like this...
They have more servers to come online, that they are bringing up for the 4th wave (twitter)
they can increase the "full" number on the server allowing more to fit (twitter)
preorders slacked after the initial rush, i dont have exact figures (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=4196)
as they get further along they are going to accelerate, so more sparse preorders and the acceleration taking over should see some pretty big jumps....i bet sept 1 will get in tomarrow, but thats speculation

I was under the impression, from friends who have been keeping up with it big time, that before I got my preorder in (september 1st) that something like 300,000-350,000 people had already preordered and put the code in and all that. And they said something like...what 150,000 people per day getting in? I assumed it was just go down the line by month, meaning I'd more then likely get in on Thursday morning, or Wednesday night at the earliest. Which would've been fine....
...but if people who just ordered this month get full 7 day early access over people who ordered on the first day available, or especially myself (lol), then wtf?

I dont think it looks as bleak as people seem to interpret it. I am not usually the optimist but from my readings, and anal attention to twitter and the forum have yielded some results and it looks a wee bit better than many are thinking.

apparently the latest (bonus) wave included 26th July, but certainly not all of 27th (if any) as no invite fore me yet.

@keipha did you redeem your preorder? I preordered on July 21st to get early access and set up my account that day. However I did not redeem the preorder with the code until 2days ago (Dec 11) to download the client. Guess which date they use. : (

Valan you're so wrong. The pre-orders you're talking about do not include digital deluxe editions from anywhere in the world, nor do they include any kind of preorder from the EU.
So what you're really looking at is nearly 2 million pre-orders.
So far they've let in around 300k people, and they plan to let in more than that today alone, and that same number again the day after.
So yeah, if you redeemed your code in late August, cross your fingers coz you might just get in on the last few waves today...
