few question to help posting in the future

i have a few question that i would like people to answer in a way that will make even the brain dead people but do it in a way that its not insulting
this may or hope will help other people

list of questions i have
1. how to you get the item to link it self when you hover over it
2. how to change the colour of the text
3.put pictures on one that shows the picture not the hyper link
4. have it when you click on the hyperlink it brings you down to the section it you want it to
5. the under line arcoss the page

i might add more. This topic i would like it to help people know how to post, so just ask and wait for people to post to help.

i have another on how do you show videos in the forums, with a a small how to do it so i dont screw it up like what you did

These are codes that are limited to only staff on Wowhead so if people want them to remain available to everyone on Torhead I suggest they be sure not to abuse them by posting anything that moderators have to deal with. Keep their use on-topic and completely PG-13. If in doubt, just don't post it.

Not everything from Wowhead's BBCode system applies here (eg. you can use [th] for headers here instead of [td=header]) but some of this is still useful.

That is a link to the page with the picture, not to the picture itself. Direct picture links from Imageshack look more like this:

When you are in the my images section hit the little 'i' next to the picture for share it, that will give you a number of different ways to link it. There is a specific section there for linking the picture in forums with the img tags already in place, just copy and paste.

for me to be able to get it i nedded to get it up

• when posting pic use [ img ] and[ /img ](with out the spacing / closing the pic or you can write after the pic
• i need to select the pic
• click get code for websites. Which will look like this

then to get rid of the the number on the pic get rid of take out .th and it will be bigger 2

you are are probly thinking about hyper link(the earth with a chain link) just above where your post
or you can do the old way

change all < to [ and all > to ]

<url=web site link>name you want the link</url> the </url> closes it, cause if you did not the the words after it will be part of the hyper think name
e.q. <url=http://www.torhead.com/>torhead</url>

now change all < to [ and all > to ]

it should look like torhead

if you did not close it it would look like this

But I recall on wowheads forums they had a admin post near the top titled something like "How to use wowhead
forums" The thread showed how to do just about all the things you talked about here, and included Rules for
posting on the site. ect.

A thread like that might be usefull here on Torhead.
