Guardian rotation(and perhaps theorycrafting)

after looking at the abilities of the guardian class(and using some of the shared ones u get as a jedi knight), this sort of seems like a rotation that builds a hefty amount of focus.

Force Leap(3 focus built)
Sundering Strike(with 2/2 improved S. Strike)(3 focus built)
Strike(2 focus built)
Combat Focus(6 focus built)
Saber Throw(3 focus built)
Force Stasis(with Stasis Mastery){3 focus built)

Thats 20 focus(18 if in soresu form) built up. if you have Defiance maxed out, then add another 4 more if u get a stun, sleep or cc. im assuming max level though, and that above abilites dont have shared cooldowns of some sort. still, seems like quite a lot of focus you can build up.

Luckily you have a lot of abilities to spend it on!

oh yeah, was so busy thinking about how to build focus i forgot how to go about spending it. these are the abilities that spend focus, asuuming this build is used:

Blade Storm(0 focus,if momentum is maxed out, must be used after force leap though)
Hilt Strike (3 focus)
Slash(3 focus)
Force Sweep(3focus)
Cyclone Slash(3 focus, though due to its bad damage, use at your discretion or if u have nothing else to use focus on)
Guardian Slash(4 focus)
Freezing Force(2 focus)

as Dispatch and Riposte require the other player to have below 20% health and a parry respectively, they dont go into a rotation. still that comes to 18 focus. guess u were right Hyperspacerebel, the abilities u can use it on balances the build up of force. looks like no future nerfs atm. pretty good class design from bioware. i hope all the other classes have well thought out designs as well, then pvp wont be on such an unbalanced footing like WoW.

now, just to combine the focus build up list with the focus spending list into a workable rotation.

p.s. above assumes level 50 character.

hey, just my 2cents on your specific build. you've invested in Momentum as well as Shield Barrier, which is good, since your end game gear sets give you a bonus to your Shield Barrier.

Barring one or two skill points, i have same same build, and usually go with,

Saber Throw +3
Force Leap +3 (6)
Blade Storm 0 (6)
Sunder Strike +3 (9) - this one is important to start building your Sunder Armour
Riposte (use on cd, especially since u have it talented) -1 (8)
Guardian Slash -4 (4)

And with that one rotation, you should be able to start again, and you will have your target on 5 sunder buffs already, meaning anything you hit him with from now will be pretty solid.

If it's a group of mobs, I usually throw in a Force Sweep after the Blade Storm, but I have Courage talented, so it is a little cheaper.
Also, i find that even as a lvl50, within ops i still tend to use Force Sweep for the 5% accuracy debuff on some of the bosses.

I am not sure if you're PVP or PVE, but as a suggestion (from a PVE), I would take out Force Clap (since it won't stun bosses) and probably Force Resolution (since I find that Enure is just a buffer for the Healer to get back on his feet and start healing you again - it's not intended as sustained health imo). I would even consider removing either some points or all from Inner Peace. These extra points could be better used on Courage and Dust Storm. I found Dust Storm works even on HM and Ops bosses, so is still worth while, and since you have invested in Blade Barrier, Courage will help with the cost of Force Sweep as well as Blade Storm, which I guess you like to use, since you have invested in Blade Barrier and Momentum.

Here is what I mean: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500fMGsurrouoZhMb.1

This is still a little different from what I am using, but I'm trying to align it to what I think you might be going for, with as few changes as possible.

NOTE: I don't mean to be sounding like I know any better than other people, and I certainly don't mean to be sounding like I'm telling you what to. This is all just from my experience and my style of playing.
