The Pit

This is the area for the Huttball warzone. It is much like a mix between soccer and American football. The ball starts off in the center. Both teams start off in their own zones on either side of the map, where the score zones are located. Each team tries to take the ball to the other team's score zone. The ball can be stolen by kill the one who currently has possession of the ball or intercepting it when it is passed to another player.

There are many traps located around the map that help keep the game more interesting. There are multiple fire traps that regularly turn on and off. These can be used to help get rid of people following you, or doom you to your own death. There are also a pit of acid located on each side of the ball toward the sides with score zones. The last traps are two anti-gravity traps that fling the player in a random direction. This can be very useful in escaping people trying to kill you.

Also, this is currently the only warzone that allows players to play against people of their own faction. So, in addition to the normal Republic vs Empire games, it is also possible for Republic vs Republic and Empire vs Empire games to happen.

If you have the ball and are about to die throw the ball into a EMPTY spot on the floor and it will stop the other team from getting the ball this is a good tactic if there arnt any friendly players to pass to.

I'm trying to find a real fly-over look at the arena, but I can't find one anywhere. It's not possible to do it in game so... The only way is if someone on the dev team makes one, or some sort of private server could be setup to do a 'flymode' of it... which isn't gonna happen any time soon so... ya... Devs :( Please? :O

When I can get in again, I'm going to try to do it but... we'll see if I can patch a bunch of videos together or something... not really sure how I'm gonna do it...
