Dealing a critical hit has a [50 / 100]% chance to grant Kinetic Field, increasing damage reduction by [1 / 2]% for 15 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.

Note: Damage and healing values are based off a level 50 character in green gear. Our staff are still adjusting and adding effects to the formulas, so bear with us as we continue to improve these numbers for launch.

Speaking as a Shadow-Infiltration @ 43rd level playing v2.9: I plan on getting this with my Level 44 skill point.
- I needed to spend one more skill point to get to Clairvoyant Strike. This is where I am going to put the point.
- Just one points gives me 50% chance. I anticipate getting stacks of Kinetic Field frequently, even with the 50% chance. I have roughly a 25% chance to crit according to my character ability window & Force potency every 45 seconds gives me two more crits. Double strike attacks twice where each has a chance to crit. Throw has 4 ticks. Project can be 2 ticks. Most of my attacks are instant. etc etc. I think a 50% chance will keep 3 stacks up on long fights.
- The 1%/3% damage reduction is why I am not putting the second skill point into Kinetic Field. If I get hit with 1000 point damage & I have 3 stacks of 1% reduction, that is 30 points knocked off. At 6% reduction that is 60 points knocked off. Even if the attack is 10,000 - that is 300/600 points knocked off which still does not entice me to spend another skill point. If I am in a tooth and nail boss fight where I get hit with ten 10,000 damage attacks, that is 3000/6000 reduced damage points, that starts to get my attention, but how often does that happen where you are without some type of healing available?
