This ability will render Thrash pretty much obsolete once you get it. Not only is the damage higher for the same cost, but it compliments Shock by increasing it's damage by 30% and reducing Force cost by 50% once you've used it twice. Not at all a bad deal.

Not to mention the animation is far more impressive. Not to give any spoilers here, but it really highlights the Sorcerer's dual-mastery of both Force and Sabre. You'll enjoy using it every time.
