This is the equivalent to the Jedi Consular spell Project. It does seem superior as there is no travel time associated with this ability as compared to Project.

Project has a cooler spell animation but note that this spell does have a travel time, the same as Project.

Base damage formula: [210.12 to 271.92] + 156% Force Bonus (at 50) = 241.02 + 156% Force Bonus (average at 50)

Note that the ability Assassin's Training does not actually increase Shock's damage by 25% as stated. There's a separate coefficient entry in the game files for Shock w/ Assassin's Training, that formula is: [254.93 to 316.73] + 185% Force Bonus (at 50) = 285.83 + 185% Force Bonus (average at 50)

This equates to roughly an 18.5% increase in Shock's damage from Assassin's Training.

Additional notes:
- Chain Shock does not trigger an additional stack of the Darkness talent Harnessed Darkness.
- Chain Shock has a separate critical strike chance, and does not benefit from the Darkness talent Energize.
- Chain Shock benefits from and can consume a stack of Recklessness.
