Activation: 1.5 secs
While active, Hammer Shot charges your powercell with each use. Charges increase all damage and healing dealt, up to a maximum of 3% at 30 charges. In addition, targeting an ally or yourself with Hammer Shot will heal the target for 100% of your tech bonus healing. Only one cell can be active at a time.

Note: Damage and healing values are based off a level 50 character in green gear. Our staff are still adjusting and adding effects to the formulas, so bear with us as we continue to improve these numbers for launch.

I agree with Moravon. This is an excellent ability that a lot of utility. It also doesn't take long to build up to 30 charges. This is great for healers because you can focus your hammer shots on the Tank and then use your other heals on the tank when there are damage spikes. In addition, you also get the +3% to damage once you've built up enough charges, which can come in useful if you have to defend yourself during warzones, flashpoints, or other group scenarios. One thing I recommend is spamming hammer shot against low level opponents before you go up against elites or bosses so that you already have the 30 charges ready to go and just have to maintain them.

Very useful addition to the Healer Specc'd Commando Toolbar. It's excellent for spamming on the tank at all times to keep him up through easier fights and just generally take the edge off incoming damage. It heals so fast that it's more like an HoT where the Healer controls the procs. It also lets you pop off Supercharge Cells whenever you build up 30 charges (pretty easy to do), which is one of your basic healing self-buffs for healing through damage spikes. It's reminiscent of the Paladin Skill Flash of Light from WoW, another quick, efficient, and spammable heal.

Just wanted to add that currently you can heal people at full health to build up charges before an encounter or to keep it refreshed at a full 30 stack in between pulls.
