You do not die if the expiration of this would kill you; you are instead reduced to 1 HP. On a related note, the end boss to Chapter One is pretty tough.

So would this be considered like a temporary heal? Let's say if your down to 10% health, you pop this, and it immediately gives your 30% of your full health (with you maximum health being raised by 30% as well) then when the duration is over you lose the health you gained.
Or is it just something that increases your maximum health, while not giving you any in the process?
