Formula for the amount absorbed at level 50 is:
1161.94 + 3.27*ForceHealingBonus
It heals for about 3200 in endgame (rakata) gear, assuming 600-650 bonus healing.

This would appear to scale with your HP, in bolstered PvP I am guessing it would scale based on the calculated reference HP
