Force Camouflage

Force Camouflage
Cooldown: 45s
Obscures yourself with the Force, becoming difficult to detect, reducing your threat towards all enemies, reducing all damage taken by 50%, and increasing movement speed by 30%. Lasts 4 seconds. Dealing direct damage ends the effect prematurely.

Note: Damage and healing values are based off a level 50 character in green gear. Our staff are still adjusting and adding effects to the formulas, so bear with us as we continue to improve these numbers for launch.

This is NOT a permanent effect.

You drop all threat and gain stealth and a speed boost for 4 seconds. Your companion is not stealthed with you. This is how it functions as of 11/28.

Does it work like a proper stealth? Or are we partially visible by mobs and players like the hunters camouflage. Not that I want a stealth based class, but this could be useful.

For clarification: this is also NOT a vanish effect. It does not exit you from combat.

It is a proper stealth for the short duration however. In fact, it seems more powerful than the regular stealth ability in the game, since you can practically walk through mobs without being detected.

The minus aggro component seems to be permanent, however. I tested this on a champion mob with my Doc and i had aggro all the time until i used Force Camouflage (which made the mob attacking Doc). I waited those 4 seconds and continued attacking the mob and never got back aggro (and the fight still lasted for about... 1 minute?)

This is a permanent effect, unless you attack someone. The speed boost is only 4 seconds long, however. This ability can be used in combat and if you stack it with the Watchman ability of Force Fade it negates up to 100% of all damage to you (all DoT effects included, so long as you do not deal direct damage to another player. Direct damage is not DoT. You could effectively use this in a stun, direct damage, load DoT then Force Fade to slip away to whittle down tough opponents or harass others in PvP ;)
