Great for PvP. Use this before casting Force Cloak to remove any DoTs on yourself so you are not pulled from stealth after a second or two. Also really useful in the beginning of Huttball if you sprint across the slime pit and grab the ball because the other team will be all over you. This will help you get around the corner so you can get back to your team and up and across the map.

Apparently this ability can be used to "eat" the lightning balls on SOA and/or to down mines in the Heavy fabricator fight...

As MAIN TANK in a HM ops group, I will test this out ASAP and report back.

Interesting note, despite the tooltip's stated 100% resist, the game files indicate that this ability actually grants 200% resist. This means that even very high levels of accuracy will have no effect on mitigating the resist chance. You are simply immune to all force and tech effects for the duration.

Cloak of Shadows, anyone?

no not cloak of shadows its completely different and this isn't World of Warcraft this is Star Wars.
Major differences are this is a 100% chance to resist AND REMOVE ALL effects to include what you "i can only use wow terms to describe Star Wars abilities" people would call physical bleed effects. We non-fail SW players would call this Force Shroud.
