Currently the Inquisitor version of this is slightly better. Shock (Inquis.) applies its stun as soon as the spell animation goes off, whereas Project does not apply the stun until the animation shows the projectile hitting the target. This is important to keep in mind if you are relying on a clutch stun.

I love this power. Currently, Project rips at least a dozen randomized objects out of the ground to throw. It's even better with Upheaval, which uproots two randomized objects.

When used with Upheaval:
What if the first rock crits, does the second do half of the damage of the critted hit? I know it says 50% of 'normal' damage but you never know
Edit: Answer appears to be no, it looks like it is hardcoded to 50% of base damage

When used with Force Potency:
If both rocks crit does it use both the charges? if only the second 'bonus' rock crits does it still use a charge?

I find the 10m range quite limiting. It was longer in beta. While I don't think it needs to be 30m I think 15m or 20m would be helpful for getting runners headed towards healers without having to move yourself.

Energy cost is too high for a shadow tank. Should be around 35.

As a curious non-Consular, I'd be curious if a knowledgeable Consular could make up a list of all the items that are thrown, possibly with TORHead submitted screenshots(though just a list would be nice). It's definitely more unique than the Inquisitor's Shock equivalent for the wide range of diverse items that can be pulled up and thrown. ech0six said it's at least a dozen, which makes me very curious about all the items that can be thrown.

As of patch 1.3, Project has a new animation and deals its damage without noticeable delay. The new animation makes the ability feel like it has less force behind it, as it's just a small projectile skimming off the ground, while the old one had your character "take a swing" before throwing. Still, it's nice that the two mirror classes are more balanced now.

This is a great spell to start out a fight targeting a weak or standard enemy and has an awesome CC (Crowd Control) to go along with it. This is also a high damage dealing ability, as at times when hitting the enemy, it will take usually more then half their health (standard or weak).

I found that when you get your 30% increased force regeneration talent, it stops being that much of a problem. Before that, i didn't even have it bound on my quickbar- was better off using 2 double strikes instead. Seems like that'll get changed before release, seeing as how each class is supposed to accurately mirror the other factions.
